Are You In, Sane? Part 2

When last we left our handsome hero, sanity had broken out at the asylum.

It didn’t last long. When you really would rather not perform an unpleasant task, what do you do? Plan like there’s no tomorrow. Or better yet plan like there is a tonight. The day crew yesterday spent the entire day constructing a brilliantly detailed, elaborate plan for us to do the job we left them with last night. Obviously they were only thinking of our well being when they spent twelve hours writing this detailed plan. They even went so far as reproduce all of our own preparatory work to ensure that we didn’t fall victim to our own carelessness. Our own management, in sympathy of the tireless efforts of the previous crew, threw out the plan and constructed their own. Myself and my co-worker decided that rather than being a party to this insanity and passing it down the line, we would go do the job ourselves. One, it would be a lot easier do the job than try to explain it to our workers, and two, it would give us a chance to escape the madness that seemed growing around us. Once again the job went flawlessly, and for the most part the rest of the night was quiet. It’s a good thing that we’re not playing with anything really dangerous, I wouldn’t want to scare anyone.
